Ross Powell is the founder of Survival 401K. He works with self-employed professionals and real-estate investors on Solo 401(k) education and implementation - walking through eligibility questions, plan design choices, document completion and the banking steps that follow.

Why Survival 401K exists

Plenty of providers will sell a plan document package. Far fewer will pick up the phone in December when a contribution question comes up, or when a custodian asks for a form nobody explained. Survival 401K was built around the part that usually gets dropped: the implementation and the years afterward.

How we work

Conversations start with whether the structure fits at all. If a Solo 401(k) is not right for your situation, we say so. If it may be, we explain the choices in plain language, prepare the documents, and stay reachable while you put the plan into practice. You keep control of your own accounts and decisions throughout.

Where our role stops

• We prepare and maintain Solo 401(k) plan documents, LLC and IRA LLC documents 
• We assist with implementation, paperwork and coordination.
• We provide education about how the rules work.
• We are not a bank, custodian, registered investment adviser, law firm, CPA firm, lender or fiduciary.
• We do not recommend specific investments or guarantee any tax or investment outcome.
